Vistra is committed to strengthening our safety defenses, and a key part of that effort is improving how we manage chemical information across our facilities. As of September 1, 2025, Vistra will officially transition from the HSI platform to 3E Protect for all Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical approval processes, and printing GHS-compliant secondary labels. Here’s what this transition means for our teams and how to navigate the changes:
What is 3E Protect?
3E Protect is a centralized online platform that allows employees to:

Access Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) quickly and efficiently

Submit chemical approval requests for new substances entering Vistra sites

Print secondary container labels in compliance with GHS standards
All existing SDSs from the HSI system have already been migrated to 3E Protect, ensuring no interruption in chemical management workflows.
